# Experimental power-ups in DirtBound

> DirtBound's Experimental mode has three power-up families, Rocket, Lightning and Turbo, and each one has three levels. An empty-handed pick from a box gives a random family at level 1. Every box you pick while holding one raises its level by one, up to level 3, and the family stays the same. Use it with E or Enter.

DirtBound is made by Luke Baffait and Victor Boutros and is not the Dirtborn concept document, the Deathbound soulslike or Driftbound. This wiki is run by UBG76, which is not the game's developer or official site.

## What power-ups are in DirtBound Experimental mode?

DirtBound's Experimental mode has three power-up families, Rocket, Lightning and Turbo, and each one has three levels. An empty-handed pick from a box gives a random family at level 1. | Rocket | Rocket | 1 | Fires one rocket straight ahead. A car it hits blows up and is put back on the road, stopped. |
| Homing rocket | Rocket | 2 | Fires a rocket that homes in on the next car ahead of you. |
| Homing salvo | Rocket | 3 | Sends one homing rocket at every other driver in the race. |
| Spark | Lightning | 1 | Throws a ball of lightning straight ahead. |
| Lightning | Lightning | 2 | Strikes the two leading drivers from the sky. |
| Storm | Lightning | 3 | Strikes every driver in the race from the sky. |
| Turbo | Turbo | 1 | Gives you 3 seconds of turbo. |
| Shield turbo | Turbo | 2 | Gives you 5 seconds of turbo inside a shield bubble, so you cannot be hit. |
| Rift | Turbo | 3 | Teleports your car about 60 m further along the road. |
