Shadow Bolt is a Shadow bolt on one enemy up to 30 yards away, with a base interval of 1.4 seconds. It is the fastest Warlock spell, tied with Corruption. The Warlock starts on 165 base health, the lowest in the game, so a bolt that hits from range is a good fit. ### Where does Shadow Bolt fit in the Warlock kit? Every Warlock run starts with it, and two trees build on it. Destruction makes the bolt itself bigger and wider. Affliction links it to Corruption, so each bolt also leaves damage over time behind. Every tick of Corruption then has a 2% chance to fire a free Shadow Bolt, at most twice a second.
