How does Lightning Bolt hit?
Lightning Bolt throws Nature damage at enemies up to 30 yards away. The data stores a target count of 2 and a base interval of 1.4 seconds. Only Call of Flame has a shorter stored interval in the Shaman pool, and that 1.07 is a stored value we could not match to a real cast timer, so Lightning Bolt is the quickest Shaman attack we can vouch for.
Where does Lightning Bolt fit in the Shaman kit?
It opens every Shaman run. The picker sums the class up as storms that jump from foe to foe and totems that fight beside you, and Lightning Bolt is the storm half until Chain Lightning shows up. Talents for it come from both the Elemental and Enhancement trees.
Which talents change Lightning Bolt?
Improved Lightning Bolt in Enhancement adds damage over five ranks. Windfury, the Enhancement milestone at 10 points, gives Lightning Bolts, Earth Shocks and Frost Shocks a chance to strike twice more at once.
