What is Cleave in Azeroth Survivors?

Cleave is the starting spell of the Warrior in Azeroth Survivors, a Physical spell cast about every 1.5 seconds before talents and gear.

How does Cleave hit?

Cleave is a melee swing. The game data gives it a reach of 7 yards and a stored target count of 3, so each cast can catch up to three enemies standing next to you. It comes around every 1.5 seconds before cooldown reduction, which makes it the quickest spell in the whole Warrior pool. The next fastest is Execute at 2.5 seconds.

Where does Cleave fit in the Warrior kit?

Every Warrior run opens with it, and the class picker leans on it too, calling the Warrior a hero of “cleaving swings.” With 230 base health you are expected to stand in the crowd, and Cleave is what keeps the front row thin while level-up cards fill in the other ten spells. No capstone takes it away. Mortal Wounds, Bladestorm and Titan each add a second spell at the start instead.

Which talents change Cleave?

Two talents name it. Improved Cleave in the Fury tree is a plain damage boost spread over three ranks. Sweeping Strikes is the bigger change: it is the Arms milestone at 20 points, and after it every Cleave hit also lands on two more enemies near the one it struck, for part of the damage. The same milestone works on Mortal Strike and Execute, so Arms players get the splash on three spells at once.

The client also has a bonus line written for Cleave alone, “Cleave strikes more enemies in a wider arc.” Its source is not labeled in the data, so we cannot say which card or item grants it.

What does Cleave look like in the game?

What are Cleave's stats in Azeroth Survivors?

Cleave has Warrior as its class, the Physical school, an interval of 1.5 sec and a range of 7 yd.

What else should you know about Cleave?

How many enemies can Cleave hit in Azeroth Survivors?
Up to three at base, going by the target count stored in the 0.132.0 data, all within 7 yards. Sweeping Strikes then adds a splash on two more enemies near each target.
Can a Warrior start a run without Cleave?
Not through talents. The three Warrior capstones each give you another spell at the start, but none of their texts says it replaces Cleave.
