What is Mage in Azeroth Survivors?
Mage is one of the nine Azeroth Survivors classes: it starts each run with Fireball on 215 base health and draws from a 13-spell pool.
The class picker describes the Mage like this: “The glass cannon. The biggest area damage in Azeroth, and nothing to hide behind.”
Spell pool (13): Fireball, Frostbolt, Arcane Missiles, Frost Nova, Arcane Explosion, Blizzard, Flamestrike, Fire Blast, Cone of Cold, Blast Wave, Pyroblast, Ice Barrier and Polymorph. Level-up cards offer spells from this pool, and Fireball is the one you start with.
Talent trees: Arcane, Fire and Frost, with 39 talents in all. Each tree ends in a capstone, and 6 of the talents are milestones.
Capstones:
- Arcane Power (Arcane): You start every run with Arcane Missiles instead of Fireball, and your spells strike twice more often. Your echoes cascade: a spell that strikes twice rolls again to strike once more, up to 3 more times in a row.
- Pyroclasm (Fire): You start every run with Pyroblast, and enemies killed by your Fire spells explode for a share of their maximum health on everything within 6 yd, at most 3 a second.
- Summon Water Elemental (Frost): You start every run with Frostbolt instead of Fireball. A Water Elemental fights at your side, hurling Frostbolts, and a free Frost Nova bursts from you every 8 sec.
The exact numbers in these talents come from their rank values, which the game shows in its own tooltips.
