## What is Glide Bird?

The title screen even says it: Flappy Bird, then the word Glide written underneath. It looks like the game you remember, with the same yellow bird, green pipes and city skyline, but it does not play like it. There is no gravity pulling the bird down and no flap. You push the bird up or down, and when you let go it slows and hangs in the air.

That one change makes Glide Bird feel very different. Holding Up or W speeds the bird upward, holding Down or S speeds it downward and releasing either key lets it coast to a stop. The bird tilts as it moves, so you can read its speed at a glance. You can also hold the mouse button above or below the bird and it will drift toward that side. Brushing the top or bottom of the screen just bounces you back. Only the pipes can end a run.

Pipes arrive at a steady pace, a little over a second apart, and each one is picked at random from a set of different gap layouts. Some gaps sit high, some sit low and some force a quick swing from one side to the other. ## How do you play Glide Bird?

Click Start, then hold Up or W to rise and Down or S to drop. Steer the bird through the gap in every pipe without touching it.
