Minecraft Platformer is a Minecraft-themed platform game.
A dirt road that nobody has driven before, a clock that punishes every slip and a garage of 17 rally cars. Pick a length, pick a season and see how clean you can keep it.
DirtBound is a free 3D rally racing game for the browser with endless generated mountain stages, timed circuits with online leaderboards, a circuit editor and online lobbies for up to 8 players. DirtBound is made by Luke Baffait and Victor Boutros. UBG76 is not its developer or official site. DirtBound opens in a new tab on its official site, dirtbound.fr. The site does not allow other pages to embed it, so UBG76 cannot show it in a player here.
DirtBound comes from two developers in France, Luke Baffait and Victor Boutros. It grew out of Starter Kit Racing, a JavaScript project by mrdoob built on Kenney's racing kit, and its roads, trees and scenery share that chunky low poly look. It runs in a normal browser tab with nothing to install. When we played on November 1 and 2, 2026, the home screen showed between 70 and 80 players online, about three days after the game appeared on itch.io.
The main event is the rally stage. Each one is a mountain road built from a number, so no two stages are alike unless you ask for the same one again. You choose a length from 1 km to 10 km, or an Endless road with no finish. You also choose Lowlands, High mountains or a mix, and one of four seasonal themes from the green Marshmallow Vale to the snowy Frostvale. Then it is you against the clock. Leave the road and you lose 5 seconds when the car is put back. Hit a group of fans and you lose 10.
Circuits are the second solo mode. Four official tracks sit on the Official tab, and players publish many more on the Community tab. These are timed laps with a record ghost you can race against, and every circuit has its own online leaderboard. If you want to try your own idea, the circuit editor lets you draw a loop, raise bridges, sculpt hills and drive the result a second later.
The rest of the menu is about other players. The daily challenge gives everyone the same short stage for 24 hours. Multiplayer lobbies hold 2 to 8 drivers, and the Experimental mode adds item boxes with rockets, lightning and turbos. Lobbies, leaderboards and publishing a circuit need a Google sign-in and a username. Solo stages, circuits, the editor and the daily stage itself work without an account.

Accelerate with W or the Up arrow, steer with A and D, and tap Space for the handbrake in tight corners. Stay on the dirt, because every reset adds 5 seconds.
On the home screen, choose Solo for stages and circuits, Daily challenge for today's ranked stage or Multiplayer for online lobbies. The Garage lets you pick one of 17 cars and five liveries first, though every car drives the same.
For a rally stage, pick a length, a landscape and a theme, then press Start. Your first stage on a new browser is preset to 1 km in the Lowlands, which is a good way to learn the handling.
Hold W or the Up arrow to accelerate and steer with A and D or the arrow keys. Tap Space to lock the rear wheels and swing the tail around hairpins. S brakes and then reverses.
If you leave the road, press R to be put back. The game does it for you after 3 seconds off the dirt or 2 seconds stuck. Either way, 5 seconds go on your time.
Press C to switch between the default top view and a chase camera behind the car. Esc or P pauses, and the pause menu lets you restart or turn on performance mode.
The generated rally stages are the core: every stage is a fresh mountain road, and you choose its length, landscape and season before the start.
Every stage is a new mountain road with its own number. Lengths go from 1 km to 10 km, or Endless if you just want to keep driving.
Marshmallow Vale, Buttercup Meadow, Russet Wood and Frostvale change the stage from summer green to autumn leaves and packed winter snow.
Circuits keep your best lap, show the online record and can put a see-through record ghost on the track to race against.
Draw a track on a grid, add bridges and piers, shape the ground, import an SVG path and publish the circuit for other players to star.
Create a public lobby or a private one with a 5 character code, set laps and collisions and vote on the next race with up to 8 players.
Item boxes give rockets, lightning or turbos, and each extra box you grab raises your power-up a level, up to level 3.
It suits players who like time trials and clean driving, friends who want a quick online race and anyone who enjoys building their own tracks.
The clock is the whole game in solo mode, and the penalties are strict. If you like shaving tenths off a run and replaying a road until it is clean, the stages and circuit records will keep you busy.
A private lobby takes a minute to set up. Send the code, everyone marks ready and the lobby votes on a stage or a circuit. With collisions on or the Experimental mode, it gets chaotic fast.
The editor is more than an extra. Players' circuits fill the Community tab, and three of them have been promoted to official status. If you like making levels, this is a good place to share them.
Start with a 1 km stage, brake before corners instead of in them, avoid the fans on the outside of bends and never cut across the grass.
Brake before the corner. The cars reach top speed in about a second and a half, so it is easy to arrive at a hairpin too fast. Lift or brake on the straight, then turn in, and use the handbrake only to tighten the line.
Stay off the grass. Your top speed drops to about 62% of the road speed on grass, so a shortcut only pays when it is very short. Most of the time it just costs you.
Mind the fans. Spectators gather on the outside of bends, right where a wide line ends up. Each hit adds 10 seconds and puts you back on the road, which costs as much as two resets.
Reset early. If the car is stuck or facing the wrong way, press R at once. Waiting for the automatic reset costs the same 5 seconds plus the time you spent struggling.
Try both cameras. The top view shows the road around the car and the next bend, while the chase view puts you behind the wheel. Press C to switch at any time in solo play and keep the one that suits your eye.
Yes. DirtBound is free in your browser with no download. The menu has an optional Support the game link for players who want to help the two developers.
The official site does not allow other pages to show it in a frame, and the itch.io version only forwards you to dirtbound.fr. The play button on this page takes you there.
Luke Baffait and Victor Boutros, two developers in France. Luke handles art direction, interface and 3D, and Victor handles the server and infrastructure. Both work on the code. The game is based on Starter Kit Racing by mrdoob, which uses Kenney's racing kit.

Yes. On a touch screen you hold a finger down and slide toward where you want to go, and the car accelerates by itself. A keyboard or a gamepad gives you more control.
No. DirtBound only runs in the browser. The itch.io page lists it as an HTML5 game and sends you to the official site to play.
